Working in partnership with Aluroll, North Valley Metal supplied more then 1,200 NV231 Double Pin Lock Isolators installed into Tesco Supermarket and Tesco Direct Tobacco Kiosks.
Supermarket giant Tesco needed to react to the change in legislation on displaying Tobacco products in their Kiosks. Aluroll provided the solution by supplying light weight Aluminium Roller Shutters, and NVM provided the solution to security and safety, supplying the NV231 Double Pin Lock Isolator, Bullet Locks and Housings.
The NV231 Double Pin Lock Isolator is designed to prevent operation of the Shutter when the Bullet Locks are still in situ. It requires the Bullet Locks to be placed in the Isolator to complete the circuit.
Accidental operation of the shutter whilst the Pin Locks are still in place will cause irreparable damage to the motor, something Aluroll and Tesco wanted to avoid.
