Gears, Pinions, Platewheels and Sprockets.

NVM offer a comprehensive range of gears, barrel gears, worm gears, compound gears, idler gears, platewheels and pinions. Gears are available in cast, steel or plastic to suit a wide range of applications and can be supplied with a plain bore, oilite bush, bearing or ball race or with keyways.

Whilst NVM carry an extensive range of gears, platewheels and pinions in stock we can also manufacture to customers specific requirements using our in house cnc / gear-cutting department. We also provide a short turn-around emergency service where gears can be manufactured and dispatched within 24 hours.

Castings

NVM are the largest suppliers of roller shutter door castings in the UK, and have in depth experience of servicing the industrial door market. Inner blocks, spring blocks, bearing blocks, spring anchors and support cups are all available from stock and can be supplied in plain bore, bushed or with bearings. Endlocks, Wind Endlocks and combination wind endlocks are available from stock to suit most major lath producers, although any customer specific requirements can be met. Endlocks can be supplied plain or pre-drilled and zinc plated, again all from stock.

Locks & Isolators

Pinlocks and housings are available from stock in either nickel plated steel or aluminium housing. Pinlocks can be supplied either keyed alike or upto groups of 20 different. A full range Isolator and Keyswitch boxes compliment the range and include groundlock isolators, keyswitch isolators, shootbolt isolators and double pin isolators. Cisa Padlocks, armoured padlocks, ground fixing locks and shootbolts are also available from stock. Also available are pressed steel keyswitch locking boxes and locking pad pin sets.

Chain & Chainwheels

NVM stock chainwheels ranging from 4” Ø up to 12” Ø and in a range of materials including cast, aluminium and plastic. Chainwheels can be supplied complete with sprockets or pinions, and either plain bore or bushed. Also available are chainwheel assemblies supplied complete with either fabricated or cast brackets. Chain guides, brackets and chain locking boxes are also available to suit and are stocked in either cast or steel. Standard 5.5mm Chain and drive chain are also available from stock and supplied by the metre. Connection links are also available. To complete the range, Chain Tensioners and Chain Grippers are also available.
